Highlights from the past month:
Pastor Transition to Interim Pastor:
1. Submitted a job description for Interim Pastor to the Committee on Ministry of the Presbytery.
2. Committee on Ministry will provide PTT with list of Interim Pastor candidates. We will review resumes and will contact appropriate candidates.
3. Met with Session to address need for a gift and the dissolution of call requirement of Presbytery.
4. Set date for dissolution of pastor/congregation relationship for August 31.
Celebration of Service and Retirement for Pastor Mark
1. Dinner and program details planned for Sunday, August 23.
2. There is limited seating in the Oak Room, so please RSVP by August9 in church or call the Office at 925-935-2100.
3. If you will need a ride to the event, please call the Office and leave a message.
Please send or give any words of appreciation for Rev. Mark or photos you would like to share with Mark to Meg Keeley at <megkeeley327@gmail.com>. Meg will include them in a slide presentation at the Celebration and they will be given to Rev. Mark as a remembrance. Checks for gift should be made out to Grace with “PTT” on the memo line by August 16.
