Organist Hans Uwe Hielscher Returns Oct. 20

World-renowned organist Hans Uwe Hielscher returns to Grace Church once again.  He has been a popular performer during his visits to Grace Church in Walnut Creek, so you won’t want to miss this concert.  The concert will be on Sunday, October 20th at 3:00 pm in the Sanctuary.

Hielscher is a German organist and composer. He is the organist and carillonneur at the Marktkirche in Wiesbaden since 1979, and is an internationally known concert organist. He studied at the Detmold State Academy of Music as well as in Paris/Rouen, France. He has performed in all European countries, the United States, and in many other countries around the world. He has been featured on radio and television broadcasts, 22 CD recordings, and is the author of several books. He is a published composer of several works for the organ.

All are invited to this wonderful opportunity to hear a celebrated organist on a special instrument. The concert is free to the public, so feel free to bring friends and neighbors. A freewill offering will be gratefully accepted.
