This is today’s Hope Village update from a preschool perspective. A two year old was crying for his mom when he saw a cement mixer drive in to the parking lot. This was very exciting and he immediately stopped crying and remembered that he likes school. After playing a while, the same two year old heard the “beep! beep! beep!” of the mixer backing up, so he alerted everyone and ran to watch! A group of friends moved to the sport court and we all greatly enjoyed watching cement being poured to make the sidewalk! The workers used a board and a shovel to smooth down the cement and we wondered why the board doesn’t stick to the cement. We also wondered how old a person needs to be to do this kind of work. We agreed that four was too young, but maybe when they are older…
We can’t wait to see what’s next!
